Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 2.88 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the East, circa 124-127. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Bare head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; behind, shield. BMC -. RIC pl. 50, 2994 (this coin). Strack 14. Very rare. Harshly cleaned and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
